MAINTENANCE

So far we’ve tackled the numerous ways by which you can easily conduct effective car/vehicle reparations and some ways on how you can easily maintain the various parts of your ride. Let’s take a break from the technicalities of repair and automobile upkeep to focus on the importance of vehicle maintenance.

      TUNING & BRAKES

One of the most important elements of a tune-up is getting the brakes checked. Obviously, your brakes are a significant part of your vehicle, so they should be something that you take great care of.

You see how vital it is that you maintain the quality of your brakes by getting a brake-tune up every 6-12 months. However, there is no “wrong time” to take your car in for a brake inspection and/or brake tune-up.

      CAR SERVICING

Car servicing can involve up to 50 or more component and system checks and adjustments.  It can also pre-warn or potentially major problems with the engine and transmission.

A full service will include fluid level checks and or changes depending on the system. Hydraulic fluid is hydroscopic (attracts and absorbs water) and should be changed at regular intervals. Water in hydraulic fluid has the potential to corrode the system from the inside with predictable results.

      WHEELS & SUSPENSION

The job of a car suspension is to maximize the friction between the tires and the road surface, to provide steering stability with good handling and to ensure the comfort of the passengers.
